We are committed to safeguarding children and our safeguarding policy and procedures are in line with the Wiltshire Local Safeguarding Children’s Board (LSCB). A copy of all our written policies and procedures are kept on-site and are available on request from the Manager.
Chatterbox Preschool wants to work with children, parents and the community to ensure the safety of children and to give them the very best start in life. The Child’s welfare is paramount. Our first concern will always be the welfare of the child but it is our duty to refer to Social Care if we suspect child abuse is taking place, and we will try at all times to share with you any concerns we may have.
All staff have up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding issues and complete regular training at the appropriate level.
Liz Bawcutt is the Manager and the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
There is also a named person responsible for safeguarding on the committee.
