The majority of our staff have worked in the Chatterbox setting for over 10 years. We provide effective supervision and support for the staff, including fostering a culture of mutual support, teamwork and continuous improvement. Staff are encouraged to further their own continuous professional development to ensure they can provide the children with the best possible opportunities for learning.
We take our safeguarding responsibilities as seriously as you would expect us to. All staff and the managing committee must have all mandated checks before they work within our setting.
Staff complete regular training at the appropriate level and have up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding issues. Each child is assigned a key person whose role is to help ensure that the child’s care is tailored to their individual needs, to help the child become familiar with the setting and to offer a settled relationship for the child.
